VOLUNTEER!!!

We need volunteers to help us maintain the gardens. The Friends run 'Tidy-up' sessions at 11.00am - 1.00pm on the 2nd Saturday of each month all year round. Come along and do as much or as little as you want. Tools are provided. If you want to attend please get in touch through the Contact page. Reminders are regularly posted on our Facebook page For volunteer sessions and other future events, see https://www.marielouisegardens.org.uk/?page_id=59

Memorials and Memorial Benches

The placing of memorial plaques within the gardens has been discontinued for many years now, for reasons set out in the official memorial policy

>>HERE<<

Please do not place any ad hoc memorials in the gardens without permission as they will be removed.

Disabled Access

There are steep steps at the Palatine Road entrance, but there are no steps at the entrances on Dene Road West and Holme Road, with on-street parking normally available in both cases.
